Baptisms

Baptism

For those who are seeking a commitment to the church and its beliefs Baptism is the appropriate sacrament for your child.  Baptisms are mostly conducted as part of a larger service such as Holy Communion but another arrangement can be made if necessary.

The baptism of your child means that he or she will become a member of the Christian Church.  If you make an appointment to have your child baptised we will explain the important place baptism has in the life of the church
A Service of Thanksgiving

Parents often wish to give thanks to God for the birth of their child. Sometimes the most authentic way to give thanks is through a service of thanksgiving. A service of thanksgiving does not imply any further commitment to the church, but acknowledges the natural desire to give thanks to God for the wonder of a new child being born.
